Flashback Friday: Spin Cycle

Thanks to the Wayback Machine I have found a moldy old poem to share for Fandango's Flashback Friday. I used to rant about the WM, and how I had never given it permish to archive my scribblings, but the process to delete my stuff is so onerous that I decided to embrace its existence instead. So, here's a triolet quadrille I posted on March 20, 2023 on my old WP blog when I read something or other about the Earth's spin reversing. 

Spin Cycle

I feel an elemental shift

As the Earth reverses its spin;

My sense of self starts to drift.

I feel an elemental shift

With this unexpected gift,

When the veil begins to thin.

I feel an elemental shift

As the Earth reverses its spin.
